Not taking any new requests for awhile, we apoligize. Come back after March.

I feel mellow yet again

Layout: [ 22/25 ]

Really liked this look. It’s from poo designs and it’s all summery and very, well… mellow, I suppose. Apt name, that. I felt your links at the side went on a little too long. Bonuses are one thing but, dude, small entries got me scrolling down for days. But its neat and very accessible and I think I might be falling so much in love with the look of it that your diary is going to put a restraining order out on me. So there.

Content: [ 40/60 ]

You manage to produce a lot of varied entries; some long, some short, some personal, some just silly. It makes for a nice mixture. On the other hand, most of the entries just weren’t my thing. I can see how they would be someone else’s thing but I wasn’t getting it. Maybe I’m just too old to “get” 15 year olds these days (I am almost 21) but most of the time I just wasn’t getting into the groove of what you were saying. This entry in particular utterly confused me. But you update often and you seem to have a good time with it, so what the heck. You like the flowery poetic stylings too. I’m not so much about that, but if people enjoy slang entries with the occasional poetic one, well then, by all means: Enjoy.

Errors: [ 3/5 ]

Spelling errors abound but everything else is mostly clean.

Contact: [ 2/2 ]

Email, guestbook, notes, you got ‘em all.

Bonus: [ +7 ]

Bio, your own writings, quizzes and questions, a cast list, things you love, rings, a calendar. Nice job.

Word of advice:

Maybe combine your friends links on to one central ‘friend’ page to take something off of your main diary layout. It’s a little bit overkill. You could also use some dropdown menus, if you wanted. Try to proofread your entries a little more—sometimes just a quick check can spot one or two mistakes.

Fave. Quotes:

"I love it when sometimes you let go of the boundries of being normal and do crazy things[.....]It's you with that little twist of lime."

Best entries:

Having lost a grandmother myself these three entries kind of struck me. It managed to capture a lot of pain and confusion without dipping into melodrama. And this was a really good example of anger and frustration while still being fairly literate. A rarity among some people. Good to see.

Will I be coming back? [ 2/8 ]

Doubt it. As I said, not my thing. But as long as you seem to be getting a kick out of it, go for it.

Total: [ 76/100 ]

Little china doll,
sits up on the shelf.
Mama's china doll,
so pretty by herself
Little lonely girl,
always does what's best.
Mama's little girl,
in a pink and white lace dress.
Little china doll,
never laughs or cries.
Little lonely girl,
sits alone and sighs.
