Layout: [ 20/25 ]

This is a self designed layout done in pink with a photograph in the left hand corner followed by your entry and a bio strip on the right. Overall it‘s a very attractive layout. The picture, although a little too busy for my taste, fits you quite well and everything is organized wonderfully. I especially like the transparent look of your links bar. That said, I think you should shorten you bio strip and swap it with your entry. The way everything is laid out now, the reader’s attention goes straight from the picture to the side bar, it’s only after looking twice that you notice the entry. It’s a diary, and the entry should be the focal point of the layout. I’m a graphic design student so I’m being preachy and I apologize for that. Otherwise though, it’s very expressive. Wonderful job.

You have some wonderful entries that express a lot of emotion and let the reader get some insight into who you are, and these are great.. But the majority seem to be day to day events mixed in with disjoined thoughts. It’s almost as if, sometimes, you write just to update rather than because you have something to say.
